On 4 Dec 2019, the Shandong Society for Environmental Sciences (hereinafter referred to as "SSES") hosted an project appraisal meeting in Jinan, "Innovation and Application of Key Technologies for Environmental Risk Emergency Management in Typical Industrial Parks", completed by Shandong Ruiyi Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., Shandong Normal University, and Qingdao Jiaming Measurement and Control Technology Co., Ltd. The meeting invited five experts to form an appraisal committee and appraised the project, including Liu Wenqing, Academician of Anhui Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhang Jian, Professor of Shandong University, and so on.

The expert group listened to the work report of the project by Wang Weiliang, Professor of Shandong Normal University and conducted inquiries. After serious discussion, the appraisal committee believed that the project had clear research objectives and reasonable strategies and methods. Technological achievements had generally reached the international advanced level. Among which, the online monitoring technology of microorganisms (Coliform bacteria) and the comprehensive prevention and control technology for environmental risks were international leading and had wide application prospects, with significant environmental, economic, and social benefits.
